Preliminary antidumping review results: Belgian citric acid

On September 14, 2026, the US Department of Commerce published preliminary results of the 2024-2025 antidumping duty administrative review on citric acid and certain citrate salts from Belgium, finding no dumping by Citribel N.V. for the review period July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

What changed

The US Commerce Department preliminarily determined that Citribel N.V. did not sell citric acid and certain citrate salts from Belgium below normal value during July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. This follows the antidumping duty order issued on July 25, 2018. The review was initiated on August 22, 2025.

Commerce verified Citribel's data after verification was requested by domestic parties and extended the preliminary results deadline to September 8, 2026. The weighted-average dumping margin preliminarily calculated is zero percent.

Interested parties may submit case briefs within 21 days of publication and rebuttals five days after that. Final results will follow within 120 days unless extended. Antidumping duty cash deposit requirements will be determined based on final margins.
