Vietnam raw honey: 30.21%, 39.61% and separate-rate review

Commerce’s 14 September 2026 preliminary Vietnam raw-honey review gives Ban Me Thuot 30.21%, Daklak 39.61% and eight separate-rate firms 34.91% for June 2024–May 2025. Seventeen other firms’ reviews are rescinded for no suspended entries. Four firms lack separate rates and remain in the Vietnam-wide entity at its unchanged 60.03%; these categories have different future assessment consequences.

What changed

Ban Me Thuot Honeybee and Daklak Honeybee are the examined respondents. Eight non-examined firms qualify for the separate 34.91% review rate. Commerce initially considered some names for rescission but retained Hoa Viet because CBP listed a variant; it also kept firms with entries found under abbreviated names.

Seventeen Appendix II companies lack suspended reviewable entries and their reviews are rescinded. Hanoi Honey Bee, Huong Viet Honey, Southern Honey Bee and Viet Thanh Food did not establish separate-rate eligibility; the Vietnam-wide 60.03% rate was not reviewed or changed.

For historical entries, the notice says unreported sales from examined respondents can be assessed at the Vietnam-wide rate, while rescinded firms use the cash deposit required at entry. The preliminary 30.21%, 39.61% and 34.91% figures do not replace deposits now; any new company deposits follow final results.

Parties have 21 days after publication for case briefs, five more for rebuttals and 30 days for an ACCESS hearing request by 5 p.m. Eastern.

Key Actions for Importers Regarding Vietnam Raw Honey Review

  • Check the exact exporter name and aliases against the eight separate-rate firms, four Vietnam-wide firms and 17 rescinded firms; Hoa Viet stays in the reviewed separate-rate group.
  • For June 2024–May 2025 entries, reconcile reported sales and suspended-entry status; the review-rate, Vietnam-wide and deposit-at-entry assessment paths differ.
  • Keep existing CBP deposits for new entries until final results; if a party, calendar 21-day briefs, five-day rebuttals and the 30-day ACCESS hearing request from 14 September.

The 30.21%, 39.61% and 34.91% rates are preliminary. The 60.03% Vietnam-wide rate was not changed here, and the 17 rescissions are a distinct procedural result; none of these figures by itself proves an individual entry’s final assessment.
