Exceptions and reporting

Exception management and import reporting

Tyllus finds import exceptions for importers and their import teams: delayed shipments, missing documents, partners who go quiet, conflicting document values, customs readiness gaps, missing invoices and high duty. Each one appears with the action to take. The Reports page adds spend, volume, partner and trade-lane analysis, with CSV export.

What does the Tyllus dashboard show first?

The dashboard opens on four focus cards and a Needs your attention panel, so the team starts the day with the shipments that need a person.

  • In transit: shipments currently on the water.
  • Arriving soon: shipments close to their ETA.
  • Needs attention: shipments with an open exception.
  • Documents pending: shipments still waiting for documents.
  • Needs your attention panel: shipments that need action and documents that still need review, each one a click away.
  • Recent activity: the latest changes across your shipments.

Which exceptions does Tyllus flag, and what can you do about each?

Each exception appears where the work happens, on the dashboard, in the shipment filters or on the shipment record, with the action right next to it.

What happens when a supplier, forwarder or broker goes quiet?

Tyllus keeps asking for you. Each workflow step sends follow-up rounds to the partner; if they stay silent, Tyllus emails you a warning and the step waits for your decision.

From the step card you can Complete now with the details yourself, or Request now to send the request again. A Not ready yet answer is asked again the next day, and a partner with an expired link can ask for a fresh one.

What does the Reports page measure?

The Reports page turns the documents and invoices Tyllus has read into spend, volume and partner analysis for finance and management.

  • KPIs for total spend, goods, freight, duty and fees, containers and entries.
  • A daily spend trend across your shipments.
  • Container volume by month, by shipment, port of loading or port of discharge.
  • Partner analysis and trade-lane analysis.
  • A cost breakdown and the top-5 suppliers by spend.
  • An invoice table with Missing invoice and High duty alerts.
  • Estimated savings opportunities to review.
  • CSV export of the report data.

Can you ask questions about your shipments in plain language?

Yes. Ask Tyllus AI answers plain-language questions about shipments, costs, customs, documents and tracking, and can look across up to 1,000 shipments to answer.

It reads and summarizes your workspace data. It never changes data on its own.

Reports reflect your workspace data

Reports, alerts and estimated savings opportunities are built from the shipments, documents and invoices in your workspace. An invoice that is not on file shows up as a Missing invoice alert rather than as a cost.
