French strontium chromate: SNCZ’s final AD margin is zero
Commerce confirmed a final 0.00% antidumping margin for Société Nouvelle des Couleurs Zinciques (SNCZ) on French strontium chromate. SNCZ’s new cash-deposit rate is zero from publication on 30 October 2026; the antidumping order itself remains in place.
What changed
The review covers 1 November 2023 through 31 October 2024. Commerce intends to liquidate SNCZ’s covered reviewed entries without antidumping duties because the margin is zero.
Previously established rates for other companies remain; the residual all-others rate is 32.16%. Resales where SNCZ did not know the U.S. destination can require a different assessment treatment. Instructions follow no earlier than 35 days after publication, subject to litigation holds.
Three checks for import teams
- Verify French origin, covered strontium chromate and the actual SNCZ producer/exporter chain for the zero deposit.
- Separate deposits on new entries from assessment of reviewed entries and any unknown-destination resales.
- Keep CBP assessment instructions and the importer’s reimbursement certificate before final liquidation.
