USITC backs retaining duties on Chinese diamond sawblades
USITC completed the third five-year injury review of the antidumping order on Chinese diamond sawblades and parts. It found that revocation would likely lead to continued or renewed material injury to U.S. industry. The determination was completed on 28 October and published on 30 October 2026.
What changed
This final injury finding supports keeping the existing order. It sets no new tariff percentage, cash-deposit rate or collection start date, and is not Commerce’s continuation notice. Import teams should keep using the applicable order and entry instructions while checking subsequent implementation. The review does not create an automatic exemption after five years.
Three checks for import teams
- Match the sawblade or part and Chinese manufacturing origin to the existing order’s written scope.
- Keep the current company-specific deposit and entry instructions; do not infer a new rate from this injury finding.
- Retain notice 2026-22244 and monitor Commerce’s continuation notice and CBP implementation instructions.
