Mexico starts sunset review of DOP antidumping duty (KOR, USA)
Mexico's Ministry of Economy declared the initiation of an administrative review (examen de vigencia) of the definitive antidumping duty on dioctyl phthalate (DOP) from South Korea and the United States. Publication date: 2026-09-01. The review fixes examination and analysis periods and keeps the duty in force while the review proceeds.
What changed
The Secretaría de Economía issued a resolution declaring the start of an administrative review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of dioctyl phthalate (DOP) originating in the Republic of Korea and the United States.
The review was opened for case EC_18-26; the review period is 1 July 2025–30 June 2026 and the analysis period is 1 July 2021–30 June 2026.
The resolution states the previously imposed definitive duty of 0.27 dollars per kilogram remains in force while the review is processed and that interested parties have 28 business days from the day after publication to register legal interest and submit the prescribed form and evidence.
