What changed
No party commented on the September 2025 preliminary results, on Taiwanese export data Commerce placed on the record in May 2026, or on an August 13, 2026 post-preliminary analysis memorandum.
Apart from the adverse facts available dumping margin calculated in that memorandum, Commerce made no changes, so there are no calculations to disclose. CBP will assess antidumping duties on the period's entries, with instructions no earlier than 35 days after publication.
The two companies' goods sold through an intermediary without knowledge of the U.S. destination are liquidated at the investigation's all-others rate if the intermediary has no rate of its own. Other previously reviewed companies keep their latest rates, and all other producers or exporters remain at 4.37%.
What an import team should check
- Compare manufacturer and exporter names on ribbon invoices from Taiwan with Lace Fashions Industrial Co., Ltd. and Trydent Co., Ltd., which now carry an 83.67% deposit rate.
- Ask your customs broker to apply the 83.67% rate to these companies' entries made on or after September 4, 2026, and to identify open entries from September 2023–August 2024.
- Ask suppliers whether ribbons reached you through a trading company or reseller, since unknowing sales via an intermediary with no rate of its own are liquidated at the all-others rate.
