China millwork: two firms receive amended 8.89% CVD deposits
Commerce’s 15 October 2026 court amendment assigns 8.89% CVD cash deposits to China Cornici and RaoPing HongRong Handicrafts for covered wood mouldings and millwork. The notice states applicability from 3 October 2026, with deposit instructions pending any appeals.
What changed
The amendment restores both firms to the review covering 12 June 2020–31 December 2021. Already-liquidated entries are not automatically reopened: the court affirmed that Commerce lacks authority to reliquidate those entries.
The separate AD amendment has different company coverage and rates, so the two cases must be reconciled independently.
Three checks for import teams
- Match each exporter to the two named firms and the written product scope.
- Confirm the amended 8.89% CVD instruction and 3 October applicability date.
- Separate new deposits, historical liquidation status and the independent AD case.
