DOTP: corrected May 2025 provisional-measures dates
Commerce’s 20 October 2026 correction concerns DOTP antidumping orders for Malaysia, Poland, Taiwan and Türkiye. It corrects the end of provisional measures to 3 May 2025 and the start of termination of suspension of liquidation to 4 May 2025. These are historical entry-control dates, not new October duty rates.
What changed
The original 22 May 2025 order notice used 4 May and 5 May respectively. Notice 2026-21457 moves both dates back one day in the provisional-measures passage. Review the actual entry or withdrawal-for-consumption date, rather than departure, arrival or invoice date.
An importer with entries around that boundary should reconcile the corrected text with the original order and applicable CBP instructions through its broker. The correction alone does not calculate a refund, change a supplier’s rate or establish that every DOTP entry is exempt.
Three checks for import teams
- Match the product, origin and case: A-557-827, A-455-808, A-583-875 or A-489-852.
- Identify entries or withdrawals around 3–4 May 2025 and retain the actual consumption-entry records.
- Ask the broker to reconcile the corrected order passage, suspension instructions and entry-specific treatment before changing cost or liquidation records.
