U.S. keeps OCTG duties on five origins after sunset review
Commerce has continued the antidumping orders on covered oil country tubular goods from India, South Korea, Türkiye, Vietnam and Ukraine, plus countervailing orders on India and Türkiye. The 22 October notice states continuation applies from 29 September 2026.
What changed
The sunset reviews are complete and the orders remain in force. CBP continues collecting AD/CVD cash deposits at the rates applicable when the goods enter; this notice sets no replacement rates.
The written scope covers specified oil-well casing, tubing and coupling stock, but excludes drill pipe, unattached couplings and thread protectors, and casing or tubing with at least 10.5% chromium.
Three checks for import teams
- Match the country of origin and written OCTG scope; tariff numbers alone do not establish coverage.
- Check the applicable exporter/producer AD rate and, for India or Türkiye, the separate CVD order and deposit.
- Keep the 29 September continuation with the shipment’s scope and deposit evidence; do not assume the orders expired at the sunset review.
